Last Friday, over on Milliver’s Travels, I talked about this funky sign I saw and had the good idea to photograph.
Head on over to read my story, Funky Signs: Chopper Parking Only!, and see picture proof of one of the coolest knights in existence in my hometown of Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

Remember those days when we didn’t have digital cameras? One would go visit a beautiful place, and take a mere ten or so photographs, half of which turned out blurry after developing them, and we were still content?
Well, I am infinitely happier now with my digital camera, than I was in 2005 with the old one.
Because this way, I could take those few old photographs of the Castle of Diósgyőr and compare them to the times I visited again in 2010 and 2015! The castle’s restoration during this time period makes these pictures even more precious to me.
Want to see the difference? Head on over to Milliver’s Travels, where my travel article “The Castle of Diósgyőr’s road to restoration” is ready for your viewing pleasure.

The title of this blog post is inspired by the quote on one of the signs near the Bridal Veil Waterfall, which I wrote about over on Milliver’s Travels this week.
If you’d like to see pictures of a cool frozen waterfall, and brave climbers scaling it, head on over to check out my article “The Bridal Veil Waterfall aka Răchiţele Falls, Romania”.

As I state in the opening line of my latest travel article, Visiting Miskolc, Hungary during the winter holidays, I first visited Miskolc in 2005, and it just so happened that I re-visited this city in Hungary every five years after that.
Head on over to Milliver’s Travels and find out what it is that kept me going back! Even if shudder you don’t find my reasons interesting, the photos are well worth the time and mouse click ;)

I seem to have been on a roll with my writing about castles, as over on Milliver’s Travels, I talked about Corvin Castle, otherwise known as Vajdahunyadi Vár recently.
Come on over to read my story and see pictures of the castle, and check out the other lovely travel articles present. The homepage is still adorned with charming winter-y stories ;)

While the Bran Castle in Brasov is most commonly known as “Dracula’s Castle” on looks alone, the castle I stayed at in Piarta Fantanele during a team building trip with my colleagues is supposedly located exactly where Stoker imagined the Count’s castle.
If you feel like searching for Count Dracula, fancy a visit to spend a spooky weekend in the eerie stillness of Piatra Fantanele, or want to go running, hiking, cycling or skiing, head on over to Milliver’s Travels and read my latest travel article about “Hotel Castel Dracula in the village of Piatra Fantanele”. You might even get to see Dracula’s coffin ;)

I loved it when I stayed a few days at my friend’s place near Finsbury Park, but I noticed that people are just as hurried and stressed in downtown London, as they are here in my city. So, it was nice to have stayed at a hotel in Kingston for the work days of that week and notice for comparison the slower pace of living there.
Come on over to Milliver’s Travels to read my travel article, “Kingston Upon Thames: escape the hustle and bustle of London“. and see some of the most beautiful sights of the town.
