That moment, my poem, featured on ArtiPeeps

When Nicky from ArtiPeeps contacted me about a feature article a couple of months ago, I was thrilled. It was such a wonderful opportunity. I shared “The Closet of Dreams”, which I have designed myself to add a more personal feel to the words I was conveying.

And, it also meant that I qualified for FreeSpace, which meant I’d be featured three more times. My first use of the free space was a flash fiction, "A glance under the surface" in March. The second was a short essay, “In these fast-paced everydays, also think of…” in April.

Here is the last feature of the three, a short poem for this week.

Without further ado, I hope you enjoy “That moment…” over on ArtiPeeps today!

On a different note, Franny, from Dr. Franny and Mrs. Myself has tagged me in a blog post of hers a couple weeks back.

Given I’ve already answered the questions in a different blog post, when Lynn has asked me the same, I’ll redirect you to my previous post. The answers still stand :)

Hope you have a happy Monday!

A glance under the surface – by Estrella Azul, featured over at ArtiPeeps

Here is the first feature of the three, an early flash fiction for this week.

The Closet of Dreams – by Estrella Azul, featured over at ArtiPeeps

When Nicky from ArtiPeeps contacted me about a feature article, I was thrilled. I’ve been reading the website for quite some time now and have discovered many great artists thanks to it. It’s humbling to point towards the website today, and say: I’m featured there! *blush*

“In the past, people have described me as pensive. As proof of that, and of how my mind works, after the click is a little slice of life flash fiction piece which came to life as I was thinking of writers, of bloggers and their blogs, and of how short-lived some blogs are or how quickly they disappear without a trace leaving us wondering what might have happened to their owners.”

Hope you enjoy “The Closet of Dreams” over on ArtiPeeps today!

This is where I find inspiration. How about You?

The other day, I went for a walk. It was a productive one in the sense of the weather being great, and inspiration whispering in my ear at the right moment when I needed to get an article for FFDO done.

Join me over at the website, to read about where/how prompts for flash fiction, poems and articles come to me, and let me know where do You find inspiration?

PS: Is it safe to say I’m late to my own party? ;)

Of precious things

Today, I am pleased to interrupt this non-blogging Tuesday and direct your attention toward the Fear of Writing website, where my guest post “This precious thing of relaxing and doing what we love” is featured today.

It is a rewrite of my last assignment for Milli Thornton’s Ace Your 10K Day online course, and I am particularly proud of this piece and my achievements.

Come read it and let me know, in the comment section there, what you think.

Do you ever pamper yourself with taking a whole day for writing? How much, if at all, do you prep ahead of time for writing? Do you experience days when nothing goes right, and then in ten minutes your whole day shifts around and you end up writing up a storm?

Medieval and Natural Gems

Are you up for a walk? To see palaces, beech tree forests, waterfalls, medieval terraced walkways, limestone caves and ponds turned into lakes?

My latest travel article is up over at Milliver’s Travels. It’s about a place and country I haven’t written about before, filled with so much beauty and history.

Go check out Some Medieval and Natural Gems of Lillafüred, Hungary. And… will you also leave it some love while you’re there?

PS: I’ve closed the comment section here to make things less confusing.
