Travel bummers can happen, too

While visiting Skopje, FYROM (Macedonia), my boyfriend and I can say that we enjoyed 99% of the experiences and things seen.
What about the remaining 1%? I’m talking about that over on Milliver’s Travels.

Go read my travel article, The lesser delights of Scupi, the Skopje Aqueduct and Macedonian Village , to find out what my travel bummers were.

A place where time stands still

I’ve been planning to write a travel article about Alba Carolina Fortress ever since my first visit during Summer 2013. I also re-visited the place in every season and all sorts of weather. So, after I got my snowy photos of it, I finally did write about it.

Head on over to Milliver’s Travels and read it, you’ll find it here “Alba Carolina Fortress Through the Seasons”. It has a ton of beautiful photographs so you can picture exactly why I call this, a place where time stands still.

Skopje’s lovely Oriental influences

Fall visit to the Iasi Botanical Garden

On a recent trip to Iasi, my boyfriend and I took delight in visiting the botanical garden. Its beauty, and especially the flower exhibition which was organized at the time, immediately made us wish we had similar exhibitions in our city as well.

Until then, we’ll just have to remember this one and look at the lovely pics often!

Want to see my pictures and read about it? Come on over to Milliver’s Travels where my travel article, “Autumn Flowers Exhibition, Anastasie Fătu Botanical Garden”, is live and very colorful.

Time for busting myths

Back in 2016, I attended the TEDxCluj event organized at the Florin Piersic cinema in downtown Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Its theme was myth busting and there were several interesting topics to listen to.

To see the picture I took of the sign stuck on the washroom door (it’s totally worth it!), visit Milliver’s Travels and read my travel article about it, “Funky Signs: Mythbusting at TEDxCluj”.
